Congrats to Busy B and Company!

We wanted to share our excitement for Bridgette who opened up her shop over the weekend. Green with Envy

This lady makes me proud. I am tickled pink with the way her outfit turned out. I love the addition of the feathers and the brooch I made with a feather and metal. I found this fabulous wallpaper background and I think it compliments the whole look. I was so happy to show her off to everyone. Every time I create a new card for our boutique signature series I think I get a little attached. I almost want to frame them and hang them on the wall to keep all for myself. I do make them to share and I hope someone is as excited to receive this and I am to make it. It feels like dressup everytime and who doesn't like dress up? I would love to hear your opinions on the whole card with earrings. Thanks

We love Dragonflies!

This card just caught my eye because of the stunning simplicity of black and white. Sometimes color is just not needed and this is a perfect example. I also check out anything that has a dragonfly on it because my mom loves them. The Brave Brothers My New Childrens Book

I was inspired last weekend to write and illustrate a children's book and it all came together like magic. I am very proud of myself and very happy I got the book in the mail this week. Its called "The Brave Brothers" and is inspired by my two sons. I loaded it up to Lulu.com and now it's out there for the world to see. It the story of two boys working together to fight the dish dragon and the toy truddle.

Do People Wear Brooches?

I love brooches. I don’t tend to wear them on my shirts but I love to add them to my hats or my jackets. I love plain ones, shiny ones, old ones, new ones, gold ones and silver ones. They just give that little extra pizzaz that is lacking some days. I have decided that it would be fun to add them to my greeting cards and I love the way it turned out.
