Penguin Holiday Card... Perhaps I will pick this one

Here is my newest painting turned into a card. I love all the fun colors so now I can't decide which one to use for my holiday card. The penguin or the snowman? Maybe I should paint another one with both the penguin and snowman. It feels good to get it OUT! My new Christmas Paintings

Last month or so I brought my paintings into a imaging store and meet the man who runs it. He loved my work. I have never heard it call "my work" before so I thought that was really cool. I wanted my paintings turned into greeting cards and he did an amazing job. He matched the colors perfectly and they turned out wonderful. I have just been in for my third trip and picked up the cards from paintings I did for Christmas. I wanted them to have a holiday theme but I wanted something very colorful and cheery. I love the way the snowman turned out and that he looks so happy. I think I am going to use him for our family holiday card. I also am very pleased with my PINK Christmas tree. I always thought it would be cool to have a pink Christmas tree. I have got them listed on our etsy site http://www.gwynnsgifts.com/ and I hope they do well. I am also thinking of bringing them around to the local stores to see if maybe they want to stock them for the holidays. I just finished a really colorful penguin painting that I will share with you when I pick it back up. I would love to hear what you think about the cards.

Mushrooms have Sprouted!

I finally just got some new watercolor paper and I was asking my kids what they thought I should paint and my 7 year old son asked for colorful mushrooms in different sizes. This is the result and he loved it.

This incredible fused glass plate looks more like a great piece of art then an item you can eat off of. But you can do both, use it to serve or just put it out to dress up your kitchen. I am so HAPPY with these Paintings

I decided to try my hand at painting with watercolors and then using a black pen and this is what happened. I really like it and I feel that I just hit my mark. I love the way they turned out and I love using both ink and paint to create. I started small with the green and blue one and then moved up to 8x11 for the pink and orange one. I can't wait to try more colors and shapes.

My Darling Niece in her Polka Dot Dress

I got this lovely dress for niece because I just couldn't resist. The cut and style of the dress remind me of simpler times in fashion. So we had her run around the back yard so I could snap pictures and this one is my favorite. She just turned two last month and is talking up a storm. Most of it we can't understand but she says it with such intent. She is also not really fond of the camera and its really hard to get her to look at you. I think I will have lots of fun playing with this in PaintShop Pro
