The Brave Brothers My New Childrens Book

I was inspired last weekend to write and illustrate a children's book and it all came together like magic. I am very proud of myself and very happy I got the book in the mail this week. Its called "The Brave Brothers" and is inspired by my two sons. I loaded it up to Lulu.com and now it's out there for the world to see. It the story of two boys working together to fight the dish dragon and the toy truddle.

Do People Wear Brooches?

I love brooches. I don’t tend to wear them on my shirts but I love to add them to my hats or my jackets. I love plain ones, shiny ones, old ones, new ones, gold ones and silver ones. They just give that little extra pizzaz that is lacking some days. I have decided that it would be fun to add them to my greeting cards and I love the way it turned out. Here is one of the first ones I made.

I am so happy with the way this set turned out. I love the combination of browns and blues and the different layers of paper. The picture does not do it justice.
